2012
2011
The ethylene oxide supply pipeline from the Caprolactam plant of JSC "Sibur-Neftechim" to the ethylene oxide storage of CJSC "Himsorbent" was commissioned.
2011
2010
The first in Russia and CIS countries plant for production of pure triethanolamine with the assay percentage of min. 99% was constructed. The production process was upgraded and the production output of dimethylethanolamine was increased up to 4 thousand tons and methyl diethanolamine up to 12 thousand tons. The conformity of the Company’s Quality Management System with the standard GOST ISO 9001-2008 was certified.
2009
The new company LLC "Sintez OKA-Intensive" was established for the production of cement grinding aids. The rectification tower for water separation from ethanolamine product stream under reaction occurring in aqueous phase was erected and commissioned on the site of the production unit No. 2 for processing pure ethanolamines.
2009
2008
The ethanolamine production capacity of the production plant No. 1 was extended up to 25 thousand tons per year. Pursuant to new quality requirements in oil and gas processing the new process for the production of modified and special modified methyl ethanolamine was developed and implemented.
2008
2006
The "Oka" production facility regained its independence and changed its name for "Sintez OKA" Limited Liability Company.
2006
2001
The new ethanolamine production unit was commissioned. The process used in this project differed from existing worldwide used processes in that the synthesis was based on the reaction of anhydrous ammonia and ethylene oxide. This provided the possibility to ensure industrial safety, save the power, avoid side reactions and improve purity and quality of products. The production of corrosion inhibitor Amincor and dimethyl ethers was started. The historical name of the Company was regained.

1997
Joint-Stock Company Sintez turned into the 100% privately owned company. In response to the market demand for the high-quality ethanolamines the Company initiated the setup of the advanced process and research intensive chemical production plant.
1996
Closed Joint-Stock Company "Himsorbent" was established on the basis of the methyl diethanolamine production facility.
1996
1994
The methyl diethanolamine production facility based on the improved process was constructed by the support of RAO Gazprom.
1994
1993
The government enterprise Sintez was reorganized into Open Joint-Stock Company Sintez.
1977
The plant was awarded the Order of Red Labour Banner for achievements in utilization of special chemical processes involving heavy organic synthesis.
1977
1972-1992
The enterprise became the centre of the chemical industry of the USSR that attracted creative personnel from major scientific and research teams and scientific schools. The joint efforts resulted in mastering the production of the number of strategic products such as propanide, various grades of cooling liquids, carbonyl iron, household chemicals, etc. The methyl diethanolamine production facility was launched that is unique in the USSR.
1972
The national plant for production of toxic chemicals was incorporated in the Dzerzhinsk plant for production of fatty alcohols named Production Association Sintez since 1984.
1972
1947-1972
The novel production facilities in the USSR were constructed and commissioned as follows: 1947 – production of 1,3-dioxolan; 1948 – production of technical ethanolamines; 1950 – production of hydrogen peroxide by the application of quinones; 1951 – production of non-inogenic surface active agents; 1956 – production of granozan (grain seed disinfectant); 1961 – production of diethanolamine and dimethyl ethanolamine; 1966 – production of pure ethanolamines; 1970 – production of Syntamide-5; 1970 – starting construction of the facility for the production of antifreeze substance Tosol-A supplied to over than 700 destinations worldwide in the eighties.
1947
Upon the tetraethyl lead phaseout the plant took a new step forward ushered in production of novel organic synthesis products in the USSR. The enterprise was named as Toxic Chemical Plant.
1947
1945

For the contribution to the victory the plant employees were awarded the Order of the Red Star, the Order of Red Labour Banner, order of Badge of Honor, Medal of Honour for Labour Valour and For Distinguished Labour.
