InCEM X6

InCEM X6

VI valent chromium reducer.

InCEM X6 monofunctional, liquid composition to reduce the content of water soluble hexavalent chromium Cr(VI) in cements.

Hexavalent chromium Cr(VI), is a carcinogenic product, causing disruption of the human immune system. In all produced cements, Cr(VI) is present in various concentrations. In European and many other countries (including some countries of the CU), it is prohibited to use cements with a Cr(VI) content above 2 ppm.

    Uniqueness of InCEM X6
  • Innovative formula composition does not reduce the strength and does not affect the other quality parameters of cement;;
  • The dosage is directly related to the amount of Cr(VI) that must be removed;
  • The product is produced in the form of a liquid and for its introduction using the existing dosage system of grinding intensifiersaids. Chromium reducers from other manufacturers are available in powder form and their dosage requires additional equipment;
  • The InCEM X6 chromium reducer does not change its properties when interacting with air, in contrast to the competitive compositions that are common on the market.
  • The product does not affect the color of the cement and can be used for grinding white cement;
  • After pilot testing at the plant, the InCEM X6 can be incorporated into the cement additive complex to simplify dosing.

  • Storage and warranty
InCEM X6 used to:
  • Decrease the amount of Cr(VI) in cements.
InCEM X6 used for grinding:
  • All types of cements.

The InCEM X6 series is an aqueous solution of inorganic elements.
The dry residue is not standardized. Additive is ready for application. Recalculation of "dry matter" is not required.

Physical – chemical indicators for InCEM X6 series

Non clear liquid from white to gray color
Density at 20 °С, g/cm3 1,13-1,19
рН, at 20 °С 0,9 - 2,7
Alkaline number, mmol of HCl/gr of product less than 0,1
Freezing point, ºС, not lower than minus 5

50 gr per 1 ppm of Cr(VI).

For example, the chromium content in cement is 16 ppm. In order to reduce this figure to 2 ppm, it is necessary to reduce the content of VI valent chromium by 14 ppm. Based on this, the dosage of the chromium reducer will be as follows: 14 * 50 = 700 grams per 1 ton of cement. This dosage is due to a chemical reaction and does not change under any circumstances.

The dosing of the chromium reducer is possible directly in first chamber of the mill, and together with the material coming through conveyor belt, or disc feeders.

The warranty period for the InCEM X6 is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
After the expiration of the warranty period the product should be mixed, the test performance should be made and in case of positive results is possible for application. Product prone to precipitation. Precipitation is particularly appears at temperaTSres below 10 ° C. The product with precipitation should be heated to 35 ° C and mixed. After averaging the effectiveness of the chromium reducer does not change. Storage is carried out in atmospheric conditions. With temperaTSre below minus 5 ° C may freeze. After soft and continuous heating the product does not lose its properties. The product is transported by any means of transport, in accordance with the rules of transportation for this type of transport. According to GOST 19433 products are not classified. By effects on the human, the product belongs to the 4th class of hazard (low hazard substance).
